This is an account of my trek from Canada to Mexico along the PCT. I hope this information is helpful to you.
On June 23, 2016 I began walking… From Mazama, Washington I hiked 167 days and 2,650 contiguous miles to Campo, California finishing on December 6, 2016. It was a journey filled with adventure, friendships, solitude, snow, glacading, ice axes, self arresting, bears, coyotes, mountain goats, elk, shining night eyes, cat holes, hiker hunger, best food of my life, gas station food, gourmet food, trail food, cabin rooms, motels, hiker hostels, sore feet, sore Achilles, sore legs, blisters, zeros, physical highs, mental lows, darkness, sunshine, shooting stars, galaxies and good times.
